I never appreciated great teachers when I was a student as much as I do now as a parent. We've been so lucky to have a fabulous teacher here who lovingly and patiently taught Finnian and Isaac how to swim, all with a healthy dose of silliness. We will miss Ms. Meg and wish we could take her with us. If you ever live in this part of Connecticut, take your 3 year olds and older to see her. Just make sure to email her the very day her schedule comes out. She is awesome: http://swimwithmeg.blogspot.com/
This kid went from doing NOTHING in the water but smiling,
to front crawling across the pool without any floaties, in six months.
And this kid went from screaming, shear terror of the water,
to spending all his time diving to touch the bottom, in the last two years.
We love you Ms. Meg and we'll miss you! Thank you.
I remember going to Finns, first swimming lessons at the school pool. It was just.....well....not so good. Ms Meg is blessed to pass on a skill to a child that will last them a lifetime. Seeing the boys in the pool on my last visit, their progress was amazing.
