I took the boys to see JJ, my maternal grandmother, this week. ("The day before in December," Finnian adds, "so you all know what day it was.") If you think getting three boys to look at a camera at the same time (and maybe smile) is impossible, try adding a 91-year-old to the mix!

She was such a good sport and we all really enjoyed the visit. Her birthday is coming up on New Year's Day. It's amazing to see someone who has lived such a long and full life at peace, finding happiness in everyday moments. We love you JJ!
