Grandpa is here for a visit this week and we couldn't be happier. We've used his vacation as an excuse to be on vacation too! We visited the kite park, had a campfire, went for a hike and swam at the beach.
So far, so much fun!

Happy Memorial Day
A time for backyard campfires
bare feet
shorts
marching in the town parade, behind the bagpipers
saluting our heroes and public servants
and picking and enjoying our first home-grown red strawberries of the year.
Have I mentioned how much we love summer?
