That's what this blog has been.
But I haven't been feeling very creative. Once we got the news we were moving to San Diego, life's been a blur of decision-making, research, going through stuff and you know, stress. We're really good at moving and know the drill by heart. But sometime while living here for four years, we got a little soft and used to this life. So we're just a little slow on our roll getting ready to go.
Don't get me wrong, we are excited and happy about our new life in Southern California and the journey to get there. And when we told the boys, they literally screamed with joy. Then we told them there was a Legoland and Disney in Southern California. They had to watch a promo video to see for themselves:
They think it's great news and have the funniest questions:
Will the moving truck take the oven? The windows? The table?
Can we go to Texas on the way? Oregon?
When will we sail?
Will we need coats in the winter?
How close will the pool be?
Will there be a palm tree in our yard?
Will we go to Disneyland, Legoland AND SeaWorld this year?
I'll post some photos from our comings and goings this last month soon. We've had a fun winter, despite the lack of snow (where did it go?!). My art time has been eliminated it seems, but I have squeezed in a few minutes here and there to start planning all the departing gifts I'd love to give!
So who's coming to visit us in San Diego?
