a couple of great weekends

Uncle Eamon came for a visit and we played all weekend long.
Football on Thankgiving.

A trip to the zoo.

And the beach too.

What a great visit we all had!
Then one crazy week later, and we in the Christmas season.

Like every Saturday this winter, we start with soccer.

Then we found ONE Christmas tree farm in all of San Diego county and found a beautiful Monterey pine. It smells great! And it was kind of funny to see palm trees line the Christmas tree field.

Then, the air station held their family Christmas party.

Complete with Santa's arrival via helicopter.

It may not feel like the Christmas we're used to, but the jolly season is definitely here.

  1. I love all the photos! I got teary-eyed seeing the helicopter and Santa. Anytime someone does the Santa rounds for kids (when they make grand entrances)makes me so happy and appreciative. We have lots of snow on the ground and freezing temps while you are in capri's! I remember last year being in shorts on Christmas day when I was back home. Love that last photo.
