In case you were wondering about the magic that is Murphypalooza, allow me to give you a quick and dirty tour. Emphasis on dirty, because this trip is no place for a princess.
Here is our pop-up all popped-up. Notice the dirt everywhere. The stove is mounted in front of the window, but it can also be used inside. The camper has an awning that extends about 8 feet beyond the door. We usually put down a carpet there to try and catch some of the dirt before it enters our home.
The inside has two full size beds. F and I sleep on one side and Mo and I on the other. Xavier is in his pack-n-play in the middle. There is a sink on one side. All the windows zip open and close. There are curtains everywhere and AC/heat.
The other side. It's kind of a mess as this was the rainy day/pack up quickly to leave the rain day. There are two, two person benches on either side of a table. The table can be removed, which we do at night for X's bed.The inside front
Also, as you probably guessed, we destroyed our van. Here is the laundry room/pharmacy/play room/closet.
The boys' backseat which is so much stickier than you see in this photo. One of those cup holders holds congealed, spilled chocolate milk. The kitchen and napping area.
And here's the set up when it's not raining.
Stories before bed, just like home.
And X's bed, right in the middle of the action.
We love our home sweet home, as Isaac says.

Well you made it!!!! Congratulations. Quite the trip to CA and your new home. Sounds like a trip to the car cleaners is in order. Im so happy that the pop up worked for you and it was much better than hotel to hotel. The boys could run, explore and have fun. Even if it was Dirt a lot of the times. Enjoy your new home. God bless...
ReplyDeleteAwesome "behind the scenes" ...are you enjoying the two (?!) bathrooms in your new home? Love!
