On Day 2 we decided to do something we hadn't done in a long time: nothing. It was awesome.
Mo and I both excercised... again, a novelty! We hung out with the boys and spent the day with really great friends. Mimi shared her love of hula dancing with us and Mo was instantly hooked.
Then, Mimi patiently taught the boys how to make their own hula hoops and we all hula hooped the afternoon away. When Brian came home early, we walked to a fun park and playground on the water and the boys took a dip in the Chesapeake Bay. We enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal filled with veggies (veggies are so exciting when you're eating out all the time) and capped off that lovely day with some ice and frozen custard.
Good fun with good friends: a perfect start to our adventure.
