and, we're back

Just a quick post to let you know that we have a working dishwasher, washer, dryer, cell phone charger, computer AND fridge... how modern! Our power was restored just a bit ago so I got up to start the dishwasher and the massive pile of laundry and move the soggy milk and yogurt from the melty cooler to the newly-scrubbed fridge. After one week in the dark, I am so happy to return to the land of the living. My Sunday is looking positively brighter without an ice run or cold shower and maybe a chance to finally respond to an email or two. Thank you to the Canadian and Oklahoman linemen in our 'hood working round the clock to help us out. Tomorrow, none of our meals will come out of a bag, and that is something to celebrate.
