Isaac's drawings have started to resemble actual people and things lately, which is frankly, awesome. I love little little ones' drawings. I wanted to use one of his drawings for Father's Day and was hoping to embroider it. But, with time running out, I realized it wasn't going to happen and then I discovered this tutorial on a blog that I like. Perfect!
Freezer paper stenciling was truly quite easy and the shirts came together in no time. Finnian drew Daddy's portrait and the letters, while Isaac was the artist for Papa's shirt.
We whipped up some rice krispie treat balls dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, then headed to Mo's parents house for the day.
Almost all of the cousins were there, including one bun in the oven who has since joined the Murphy cousin party. Welcome Oliver! Official grand kid count on Mo's side: 3 lasses and 6 lads in 5 years. Finnian and Isaac are thrilled.
The shirts were a hit and so was the day. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, including my own, who will celebrate all our holidays together when we meet at the end of the summer!

Awesome shirts, awesome post!
