Easter

We spent Easter this year with all of our northeast family, except the great-grandmothers who shy away from travel these days. It was a beautiful day (can you tell we've been hungry for these this spring?); the first one where you could comfortably walk in the grass without shoes and ditch the jacket pronto. Or, if you're a baby, it was a great chance to dirty up some knees and play with the blades of grass. With one short year left until another move (trying not to think about it), we cherish these moments to gather with extended family.

To prep for the day, Finnian and I dyed eggs. He's really gotten the hang of this yearly creation. Isaac  dyed his own beauties with Grami this year.

At Auntie Maggie's, we had three Easter egg hunters this year. I'm guessing it's probably the last year Xavier will be happy with just one empty egg.

The cousins gathered for a group photo. With three new babes since last Easter, hands to hold the littlest cousins were sparse. Xavier ended up with Isaac and somehow, he knew how that was going to end...

... with a face plant. Guess two is too young to take care of a baby. No wonder little siblings are usually quite tough. Happy Easter!
