Brotherly love

The other day, the boys hit each other with tinker toys, trains and pillows (sumo-style, with a running start).  Time outs and tears all around, to me it seemed, all day long.

When the house finally quieted down and Mo and I went to check on them before bed, we discovered Finnian in Isaac's bed. They were tucked in and asleep side by side, with a pile of books between them and the reading light still on. When we pulled the covers back to move Finnian, we saw that they had fallen asleep holding hands.

What a gift siblings are.
