We had a good morning today thanks to this guy.
After 4 1/2 years, neither Mo nor I fixed him breakfast. He did it himself.
After a few early, hungry mornings recently, I had enough. So, I bought a small plastic pitcher, filled it with milk and left it on the lowest shelf in our fridge. I left the cereal out and told Finnian what he needed to do if he wanted an early breakfast.
Guess what? He LOVES it.
As an added bonus, he wants to "be the mom for Isaac" and fix him breakfast too. So he did. This morning, I nursed Xavier in peace while the boys finished their self-made breakfast. My dad always told me this was a good day to be a parent and now I truly agree! Why didn't we do this sooner???
Nice move! We will all have to prepare for the new meal makers. I won't have to make pancakes anymore.
