The other night, after the boys went to bed, Mo and I were working in the kitchen, busy as elves finishing some details on Christmas surprises. Otis noticed a few deer just outside, nibbling on our shrubs. Mind you, he didn't bark or get excited (like he does when he scares the pants off kids on bikes or moms with strollers), just stared out the glass door. A guard dog, he is not.
This one hung around for awhile.

owls
mice
birds
frogs
raccoons
fox
cats
skunk
coyotes (heard, not seen)
We love living in the woods!
