Happy New Year!

I thought I had signed out for the year, but here I am again. Mo is sick, so he and all the boys are sleeping, leaving me a totally quiet house to do whatever I want. Amazing. After I picked up the Chinese food and threw my new fabric (thank you Joann's for your generous sales!) in the wash, the dogs and I watched a deer in the backyard, eating out of our bird feeder. And then I decided to play with my camera and photograph our pretty tree. I know, New Year's Eve is just not the same anymore.

Tomorrow the tree will be the last bit of Christmas to leave the house and become a home for the many critters living in the woods.

But tonight, it gave me some beautiful shots. Now I just have to pick one to print and frame. Or should it be a tryptic?
