i missed you in colorado

That's what Isaac told me when I returned from my long weekend visiting Lindsey. I missed all of my boys so much. It's not as much fun traveling without the whole entourage, but it is a little more peaceful. And I only had to buy one plane ticket. Sweet. It was awesome to see Lindsey in her environment. We visited multiple coffee shops (I've never seen so many cafes per block, except in Paris!). All seemed to make their own chai. One place had 7 - yes, 7 - varieties. Heaven! I met her sweet posse, roasted marshmallows in her living room fireplace, witnessed an impromptu CU pep band concert and explored beautiful Boulder. Can you believe this is literally a walk down the street??!!:

I'm not kidding. It's just blocks from her front door. The place is a little unbelievable. Anyway, hanging with Lindsey and her crew was fabulous.

Xavier loved the attention too. And I loved focusing on him for a change. 3 months old is such an easy age - no gear, they sleep anywhere. We took him to the bar at the Boulderado one night and he was a crowd pleaser.

As a super added treat, Ashley, one of my best friends from college, drove a couple hours to meet us for a visit in Breckenridge. I actually got to see her just a year ago, but neither of us knew we were pregnant... so it was great to get together and have the newest babies meet. Notice Xavier already checking out Brooke.

Aren't August and Ashley ridiculous cute? It was super awesome to see the whole family.
Thank you so much guys! I miss you already.
