Mo continued his quest on Day 7 and guess what? He found what he was searching for. But, I have no photos, so more on the prize later....
The good news was that Mo was able to stop driving and enjoy some of a beautiful Saturday with us all. We played in the pool again and really just enjoyed being with my dad at his home, a rare treat. The icing on the cake was a visit to a local farm for their BBQ night. Pulled pork, coleslaw and fried okra all around. If the meal didn't convince us that we were in the south, the gals working there sure did. "Are those three all y'all's?" one waitress asked. I really love the people in the south.
We fed the goats and finished the night off with delicious ice cream cones, enjoyed while hanging out in rocking chairs on the farm's front porch. The cones were enormous, waffle-sized and I asked the gal to make them smaller than normal because truly, it was so much ice cream. The result was still huge but when Mo went to pay, they only charged us $1.50 or so a cone because "She didn't give you enough ice cream."
We would be so fat if we lived here.
