Lindsey flew in for a visit, purposefully coinciding it with Isaac's birthday. While Isaac's birthday was very special because she was there, the rest of our precious days with Lindsey were just as sweet.
We pretended like we were on vacation too.
We took her to the aquarium, the boys' top priority for the visit.
She was here for all the normal stuff, which just seemed more fun having her be a part of it.
Finnian's end of the year picnic and magic show.
The Mets last game.
Playing and scoring loads of cheap books at the Book Barn.
Swimming at the beach. Then visiting again the next day and getting all of our clothes wet.
We had such a great couple of days and hope to do it again soon. We are so thankful for you Auntie Lindsey! We miss you and love you so much. xoxo
Don't forget to add, me taking an afternoon nap just like X. as I wasn't used to so much wonderful playtime! :) I had such a good visit thank you so much for having me! I love your family so much. Further highlights:
ReplyDelete-Being able to be present for Xavier's first real beach day
-Isaac's funny interest in my glasses, what a character!
-Finnian being a good sport after I squirted him all over with water, entirely missing his mouth: what a gracious child
-All three boys inviting me to roll with them in the backseat of the minivan!
-Being able to spend some time with Mo, glad he was home for part of my visit!
-Strangers delight at my resemblance to my beautiful big sister
-Finally seeing those famous Mystic belugas
-Receiving and giving alot of attention to my favorite dogs, Tully and Otis. And of course taking updated portraits with them.
-Being able to eat seafood near the water in New England, during the summer: yes!!!
...And many more blessings, but thank you all mostly for your love and hugs and kisses and laughs and support. I adore you all!
And I couldn't ask for a better sister: you are the BEST.
