Since we don't get to travel quite as much as we used to (or we'd like to), everyone in this family loves it when visitors come to see us. And this weekend, my mom visited with one of her closest friends, who has been like family: Nancy! We had a really nice day with a chilly walk on the beach (didn't stop the boys from swimming). And, the ladies kept the littlest Murphy busy so the rest of us could finally put in our vegetable garden. It was a relaxing day and so nice to spend it with someone who has been so dear to our family.
