a visit from our homies

We recently persuaded one of our favorite families to come to the country for a little visit. We had such a nice time and really enjoyed hangin with Uncle Colin, Auntie Suz and baby O. Being that it's a bit gray and cold here right now, we skipped most of the local highlights and instead brought them on a tour of the Book Barns - the sweetest used book store with three little branches in our town.

To get to the main branch, it's most fun if you take the secret path next to the taco stand.

Then, you can play big chess.

Ride the Hogwarts Express.

And go letterboxing.

As always, we left with an armful of books and a belly full of coffee and cookies. 

Back at the ranch, the cousins had some playtime.

X and Miss O are only 11! days apart, so their relationship is truly special!

Xavier was determined to share his cold, but thankfully, O survived sniffle-free.

The rest of us settled into some game time, with Suzi crowned Queen of Catan this time. Speaking of, I don't have a single photo of her - probably because she was behind the camera every time I was. We have to figure out how to get mamas in on the action too.

Colin and Suzi are closet murphyfix followers (Ha! Your secret's out!) so this message is for you: Thank you for coming to visit!!! We LOVED having you and look forward to the next time.
