Happy Winter Solstice

The first day of winter felt more like the first day of spring here, so to celebrate the shortest day, we took a walk at sunset at our beach. The train even blew its whistle for the boys.

The older boys playing trains and tracks, with gymnastics breaks. Xavier sitting in the t-n-t bin, slowly putting each piece in his mouth, then throwing it across the room.

 Then, lots and lots of time outside, including drawing with sidewalk chalk. Isaac likes to draw trains.

 Finnian's into geography. Here, he wrote his name with a state for each letter. You know, F=Florida, I=Indiana, etc. What? You didn't do this when you were a kid?
